Glamour

Summer is over... sort of

Summer vacation, or should I say holiday, has officially come to an end :(  I have been working for a week now, 3 teacher days and 3 teaching days.  This years group of kids are absolutely adorable AND I only have 13 of them, how amazing!!!  The kids come from all over, America, India, Mexico, France, Korea, Japan, and Malaysia.  It really is so great working with and having such a diverse group of kids, it brings so much more variety to the classroom each and every day.


Along with starting the first week of school I have booked two short weekend trips coming up within the month!!  In a week in a half I will be jet setting off to Sri Lanka with the girls to see the Esala Perahera, a festival filled with dancing, chanting, decorated elephants and much more.  Two weeks later, for another short weekend, I will be crossing India to the southeast state of Kerala and visiting Varkala.  A popular cliff side beach location over looking the Arabian Sea as well as a pilgrimage center for Hindus.

I have been looking for months for the perfect passport wallet.  One that isn't just boring brown or black leather, one that has personality, one that will hold my passport, money, cards, and tickets.  While I was awake, once again, at 2am I found it!!!  Not only did I find the perfect passport wallet but a bunch of other wonderfully designed luggage and bags... check them out here!

 I'm in love with this weekender duffel bag!  Doesn't seem to be for sale online yet, I can't wait until it is though!

Jet Lag...

I'm sitting up wide awake in the middle of the night trying to beat this case of jet lag.  And... surprise, surprise I find myself scouring the internet for information on my next adventures!  Not so sure that was the best cure for jet lag because now I'm even more awake unable to stop my mind, running with thoughts about camel festivals in the deserts, girls weekend in Kuala Lumpur, the Commonwealth Games taking place in Delhi this year, fall break to Sri Lanka, and trying to figure out how I can win the "Blog Your Way Around the World" contest (if you haven't voted yet, make sure to click on the link, it's quick and easy)!

Off to bed with dreams of new adventures to come!
